Sophia Ojha Ensslin of Reflection Pond
Sophia Ojha Ensslin is an author, filmmaker, meditation guide and workshop leader from Asheville, North Carolina.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Film and Television production from New York University. She created a 22 min short film called, ‘Khajuraho: Beyond Erotica’ about the Vedic Temples of North India. She earned her master’s degree from Jacobs University Bremen, Germany in International Relations where her master thesis was on Conflict Resolution in the civil war in the West African nation of Liberia.
Today, Sophia guides meditation for individuals and groups using guided imagery and visualization and breathing techniques to help her clients calm the thoughts and connect with their deeper self. A Reiki practitioner of the Usui tradition, Sophia conducts energy healing sessions for individuals as well as companion animals, specifically cats. Sophia has produced a guided meditation CD in 2011 called Visual Journey Meditations and has guided over 100 group meditations last year. In 2012, her first book, “22 Visual Journey Meditations” is going to be published. She also has other creative projects in the offering including videos related to the meditative experience.
